Don't Get Mad,Get Glad

“My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires”(James 1:19-20).

Do you have a handle on your anger? Are you a slow fuse or do you blow up at the drop of a hat?

We are told in scripture not to sin in our anger and not to let the sun go down on our anger(Ephesians 4:26-27) because it can be used as a foothold for the devil in our lives.

Don’t ever go to bed mad because satan will use it to fester more anger and hatred in your heart. Resolve it each day.
We are told in Ephesians 4:31 and in Colossians 3:8 to get rid of all anger. We are told in I Timothy 2:8 that when we pray we are to lift up our hands, holy hands without any anger in our hearts.

Are you humbly accepting the Word of God in your life today. The next time you get mad, get into the Word and get glad. Better yet, stay in the Word so you can avoid much anger.
